The objective of this Regulation is to lay down the working procedures and principles, the minimum criteria to meet and the sanctions to be applied relating to the activities for the conformity assessment bodies and notified bodies which will operate in testing, inspection and/or certification of conformity with the related regulation of the products intended to be placed on the market and covered by a technical regulation.
