Ships, which are either purchased from abroad as constructed or readymade and ships (including floating docks) built, modified or repaired in Turkey as well as machinery, equipment and fixtures used in the equipping and navigation of such ships as well as machinery, equipment and fixtures used in construction, modification, expansion and repairs of ship production facilities shall be exempt from customs duties and other taxes and levies (including stamp tax).
