Regulation on Production, Consumption and Control of Foods

The objective of this Regulation is to set the principles and methods relating to the functions concerning the determination of specifications of all crude and supplementary materials, manufactured or semi-manufactured foodstuff and their by-products used in production of foodstuff, controlling and inspecting the compliance of foodstuff to Food Codex by the Ministry, so providing consumers with safe food, rendering consumers more conscious, developing food industry and improvement of food trade in order to ensure technical and hygienic production, processing, preserving, storing and marketing of foodstuff, and adequate nutrition of people and to protect mutual interests of producers and consumers as well as public health.
